Am I a fiend?
Am I a foe?
Am I a friend?
Am I a man?
Am I a writer?
A lover?
A confidant?
Am I smart?
Stupid?
Somewhere in-between?
Am I good?
Bad?
Happy?
Sad?
Am I here?
Now?
Where else would I be?
Need I be only one thing?
Why are we as a society obsessed with what we are?
Seeking to perfectly define that one characteristic or trait?
Why?
Even more –
How did this come to be?
What am I?
What are you?
What are we all?
Different?
Different! Different?
It’s funny how the meaning changes.
To me anyway –
and that’s kind of the point isn’t it?
Relativity –
Shared?

Thoughts from an Idealist
Democracy;
Capitalisms Hoax
Yet we preach,
extol the virtues of the systems as we’re not to proud to boast.
Achievements sure, many great and wide,
though the sinister truth is something altogether different
that only now is becoming difficult to hide:
Not Cheney, not Powel, Rumsfeld or Bush,
nor Clinton, or Reagan or Nixon could push,
for the very fabric of our daily lives is not decided by these white guys.
The White House,
a symbol of the seat of power
but in order for it to work the products we must devour,
consume, consume, consume,
come on my working friends –
Democracy depends on it,
until its very end –
game.
It’s a run, a fast break –
the winner is the one that’s first out of the gate:
America,
the beautiful and the home of the brave,
with a population silenced by their own ignorance,
consumers,
who don’t even vote –
But stand as an example –
Americans who gloat.
Tragic really that democracy is being brought to its close by the gluttony that is CAPITALISM.
Democracies big hoax.

Fear, Lies & Consumption
Afraid;
Of what fool?
Can’t you even see?
the game that’s being played,
a game from which none of us are free;
Democracy or Fascism,
communism or capitalism…
All SYSTEMS with purpose defined,
either comfort or fear,
the design never quite clear,
so much to understand,
never quite able:
Afraid of what? –
Do you even know?
The duct tape that you buy,
where do you think the money goes?
A dollar here and a dollar there its really all the same –
it all ends up in some pot –
Just like Monopoly,
but none of US get to pass go and collect two hundred dollars –
Do we?
So ask yourself,
where you live;
where you are;
what is your life about –
really…
Ask yourself if its in vain –
search for answers,
they can be found –
but the rules always change…

The game is
Like Holmes would say:
The game is a foot
but unlike Holmes my nemesis is not a man.
It is a way of thought
that has led to the gradual erosion of all that was good in this world –
This way of thought puts shoes ahead of shots,
as in needles,
coats in front of caring
and hearths instead of hearts.
Duped into theories delivered by Puppets of the Masters,
we educated masses allow out strings to be pulled –
Oh this nemesis is much more sinister,
as it operates cloaked in the open,
under the guise of democracy:
How is it Democracy if one man can wage war unopposed for up to 90 days?
How is it Democracy if we don’t get a say?
Elections,
sure we vote but Capitalisms voice is heard louder –
I believe this now,
I’ll believe it when I’m 94 –
Unless we’re empowered to cut the strings to change the direction –
This nemesis will grow –
The game is a foot!

Blackout II
Does the black out of a few days ago teach a valuable lesson to we the energy sluts?
One would hope,
but I fear the stark reality is that like most potential lessons learned in history,
this too will escape us.
So quickly we forget the lessons that seem elementary so quickly we look ahead,
seemingly to help us forget the past.
The Black Out, as it is ubiquitously now called revealed much, yet we see so little.
