I want you to know,
Just how incredible you are,
How in just the blink of an eye,
You revealed a world bright,
And understanding of the night,
With patience and grace,
Seeing beyond my face,
Value,
Virtue,
And in deed vice,
Yet in your elegance,
Beauty, truth and light,
You’ve helped reveal my path,
Helped me see right,
Your love unconditional,
A spirit so soothing,
These words represent,
My absolute swooning,
I loved you when,
My eyes first glanced,
This woman who,
So greatly enchants,
You are an angel,
A guardian and more,

Words
Sometimes and without warning I’ll look to my left or my right and without provocation you just might hear me say; “Hey can you give me a word or two?”
Most of the time the unwitting wordsmith will without hesitation and give me a few and somehow my pen begins to weave its way across the page utilizing the words that I’ve been given.
Some people when I turn to them seem to be hearing my words but act as if they are some foreign language, like they don’t understand, so, without the benefit of their words I turn to the next supporter, enabler if you will, for these words which tell a tale.
Words, in any language, are a very powerful tool, they can motivate, debilitate, frustrate, initiate and move.
They can cause very quickly, or at the very least inspire; Love, Anger, Fear or UNDERSTANDING.
That’s why, in a darkened room, or on a sunny street I may turn to you, out of nowhere and ask;
“Hey could you give me a word or two?”

They...
They, whoever they are, say that time can heal all wounds, so I wonder if this gapping gash will be overcome. Our history shows us a past filled with mayhem and destruction, chaos by our design and from it we are supposed to learn. But do we? It is the result of this question that I am truly concerned, when will we engage history as a beacon, like the lighthouse at Alexandria, to guide us into the port of our future, by our design and choice. Histories record could be the gateway to a world we all desire, yet today seems to stand in our way. It could be so easy, to change our ways, allowing history to be our torch, blazing a path into a tomorrow we all have a vested interest in: But I fear our ignorance and temporary truth will be our greatest enemy. For without understanding we are lost in time.
